just back from my first trip to the states since the new year and was interesting. we waited for an hour to get thro customs. all the pax on our flight had long gone by this time!
and you need to do this every time you enter the states so its not a one off. now with all crew they have to go thro many a security check where it now is becoming a joke to know exactly what you were doin 3yrs ago on monday so why do we need to do this whilst pax still fill in the visa wavier and just walk thro!
think you'll find its the pax instead of the crew that like to unlawfully take charge of an aircraft.
any thoughts? it certainly compressed my drinking time down route! i'm all up for increased security measures but seeing that we already hold visa's, disclosure forms and references dating back to the year dot i think they are concentrating on the wrong people!
