+8000hs here, +5000 on the 737, +2500 on the A320 (1500 as PIC) and now flying the ATR due to COVID craziness.
Sadly, I wasn't even invited to the selection process, probably because I'm not current on a jet type acft.

It’s sad that many requirements don’t make any sense, right? Just like X hours in the previous 12 months. Someone who’s been flying for years and years and years has to take 1-2 years off for whatever reason and suddenly they become incapable for the job
