I think it's very difficult to gauge the current sentiment among the Russian people. There's only a minority who dare to be vocal against the Kremlin. As for the remainder, it may be 50/50 (who knows) between those that remain brainwashed by the domestic media (from a lack of access to any other source) and those who want to preserve their lives (and that of their families) by staying quiet and simply hoping that Vlad and his goons will one day mysteriously vanish. If I had a reasonable job and a young family I would most probably fall into that last category. I wouldn't make any noise to my "friends" either. With that type of regime you just don't know who you can trust.
