The current sentiment amongst all, young and old, is a hardening not so much against Ukraine, but the West... we are seeing the emergence of real antagonism here, bit worried where this will go to be honest. The dislike of the West is overshadowing everything.
Genuinely surprised though even after 20 years in Moscow that the tide turned so fast.
Having lived there you must know how tightly controlled Russian media is. Several younger Russians that have left have highlighted this. They've also pointed out that the majority believe Putin's propaganda. Hardly surprising that they believe that they are under attack from the west, that's what they've been told to believe.
We all know that this is bollocks. The west didn't attack Russia. Didn't even threaten Russian militarily. All the threats have come from Putin. He who fires the first bullet is the aggressor. Zero doubt as to which country that was.
