From the Sonex builder database, it seems there are 7 Sonex flying in England and as many under construction.

It is a great little aircraft - cheap to build and operate. Fun to fly. The Y-tail Waiex flies the same as the heathen conventional tail Sonex, but the Waiex is about 20% cooler.
