This lead them to believe they are the best meanwhile they are actually the last and about 20 years behind in terms of industry practices and company management.
And LH is dead right when they propose a contract in which the government has to pay them back if things go wrong. They are not willing to loose a cent over an empty box. What's ITA? Nothing except a registered company and some slots. No planes, no handling, no maintenance, no spare parts... So that amount they are throwing in is even too much maybe.
Pilots shouldn't complain much, ITA will propably give the chance to pilots to return back home. Right now I am stationed in a frosty sh#thole. Some other guys are in the desert.
Hopefully we will return to fly in our country, that means a lot to some guys. At least means more than the bad management, or the plans of LH taking over.
BTW has anyone been hired already after the December job opening?
