LBC don't have the money to keep the library theatre going so are closing it. Funny how they find cash for other things but not for a bit of culture in the town.
Perhaps they could offer the DART station as a new venue? Not like much else is happening in there anytime soon.
They have a shortfall of £7.37m for the next financial year. As mentioned here before but no mention at public consultations being held now that the airport operator is being allowed to keep £15m per year in concession fees for 3 consecutive years after paying nothing in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid.
