Gulfstream are not running their own fleet but are doing 99% of work for their customers and being near to the customer makes sence. The only place that a Farnborough size facility could have gone is where the proposed T2 is going to go.
Easyjet have most of their heavy work done by 3rd parties. TUI I don't think have capacity for 3rd party work. The days of MAEL have long gone but their old hangers are always blocked at night so make them less attractive. I think Lufty Tech looked at them for Wizzair at some point.
