Many operators obviously poach from other operators. More money, more time off, better quality of life etc. I could name one large outfit flying Bombardier kit which is probably a good source of qualified pilots.
Sadly, most job ads in Asia have only one requirement. No type rating, no job. Simple as that.
That is a frustrating aspect of job hunting outside the US apparently, even amongst Asian major airlines. Type rating is valued more than overall piloting experience, knowledge, skills and character of the applicants combined.
