It doesn't work very well on mine unless right in close. Used to fly aeroplanes with both surveillance radar and WX radar and without dusting off my theory notes it just doesn't work. The only time we ever found another aircraft at any sort of range on the WX radar (pilots tactical as we called it) was by knowing it was there in the first place.
