Had a few people ask me if I would post some of my pics from the trips to Afghanistan over the years. Now that everyone is out of there am happy to do so so will start posting some showing both the aircraft ops as well as some of the other sights of the place. Hope you enjoy them.

Throughout my various trips to the sandpit the crews always obliged when it came to shooting some air to air pics. This was one of the US State Dept INL Air Wing Huey IIs on our way back from the Helmand Valley.

This was one of the FOBs we landed at to top off with fuel before heading back to Kandahar.

The RAF Hercs were in and out of KAF a lot and I would always snap a few pics of them.

An Arizona based Apache that came into Tarin Kowt when we were there delivering some freight in the Chinook.
