Wizz won’t pay more as the airline is facing bankruptcy despite its expansion with its losses increasing despite a good summer. The airlines need a good summer for the losses the winter brings. This year summer also brought losses so the winter will be grim.
I don’t understand why any passenger would fly Wizz. If they cancel the flight or if there are substantial delays they just keep the money
Wizz had a terrible 2022 summer... but they are still a fair distance away from bankruptcy.
Since the demise of Blue Air, and Ryanair pulling out of many Romanian routes, Wizz has a near-monopoly on nonstop flights between both London and also the of the UK and much of Romania (except Bucharest). I expect Wizz to seek market dominance between London and other areas of Eastern Europe... and for that to be reflected in contract terms with both customers and supplier.
