I recommend you do stay on with them for cpl, as far as how well known are they?? well what you should be more interested is will they train you not only for cpl/ir but have your skills sharpened enough to adequately to pass a sim check with an airline. My understanding is that there has been quiet a few students go through there ranks who are now working so that should answer that question. If your there already why dont you speak to some of there commercial students who usually are found drifting about.
If your a good enough pilot in the sim it should'nt really matter where you trained.
