I remember meeting an ex-EK 777 skipper who resigned after 7 years because he said it was just so miserable and fatiguing. He said it was over 90 hours a month and mostly going to work in the dark it just took it's toll on him over the years and he resigned without a job to go to moved back to Canada. It's incredible really to have such an experienced professional take such drastic action to restore his and his families happiness. Says a lot about where we have gone as a profession really so sad to hear this type of thing.
