I do not want to play down the side effects, or ignore the question of under-reporting, but it is important to be clear about the sources and quality of the research and data the correlations which are being made/suggested. Some of the research is for the birds and the actors promoting it are known political disruptors (aka anti-system nutters). The material is largely being pushed by the AFD, an extreme right party that none pf the other German parties will enter into a coalition with. And given that they have the Greens and neo-liberals in one, that says a lot. The supposedly courageous truth-telling BKK board member got fired after the info was found to be wrong. Truth and transparency are important, but this isn‘t it.
