If SIA should sink, a large airline to the north will sieze the opportunity to grab as much market share as possible.
That press release will surely do absolute "wonders" for SIA's share prices, too.
Do you think the old man is trying to talk down SIA, to avoid reaching the profit level that would require the company re-instate and reimburse the pilots' salaries?
Or is it to "save face" as the obvious pilot shortages start impacting on schedules?
Who knows, they might start employing females.
