In answer to your question, every MPL course is different. The Easyjet MPL course at CAE did include 5 hours of multi engine familiarisation, so was about 80 hours of real flying; 40 hours core 1 (ppl equivalent) core 2, 35 hours of SEP IR training conducted in what the military would recognise as multi crew lead in training. I noticed the TUI course is only 65 hours of corephase training so not sure what that will comprise of exactly. Actually a steep learning curve so the candidates need to be good. Unfortunately when Easyjet started the push for numbers you could see the drop in standard. But as TUI will hopefully be selecting the best and not those that can pay 100k, I would say the end product should be good in TUIs case.
