I've been flying professionally for over 35 years and have never seen the need for anything more than a basic analogue watch. As time passes there are more and more devices in aircraft that dispaly time in UTC , local or whatever time zone you choose if you can be bothered to fiddle enough. If you can find a pilot these days that doesn't have a smart phone permanently held in one hand or the other I will be very surprised. Most of the folk I fly with seem reluctant to put them down on the console for long enough to conduct a take off or landing! Do you really need another watch??
I've held a CPL or an ATPL for just on 55 years.
If I want another watch, I'll get another watch. I may not need it, I likely can't justify it, probably can't afford it, but I seriously don't care what someone else might think. Sheesh, some people! I was married to someone like that once.
