I remember driving across Salisbury Plain some years ago and having the car satnav go bonkers. Checked NOTAMs later and spotted that there was a GPS jamming trial taking place.
I assume that GLONASS operates on different frequencies to GPS, so can these Russian smart weapons be buggered up by jamming GLONASS?
Not my subject at all, so sorry if this sounds like a dim witted question. Just seems to me to be a possible a way to stop their high precision weapons from working, or at least making them revert to INS, which I assume would be less accurate.
