Think how much $$$ the Airlines could have saved on TCAS if they thought of this!
Also with respect.... it's an idea.......just a bad idea, see reasons above. Spend your time flying your A/C not fiddling with the WX radar un-necessarily in a critical phase of flight, if you have issues with your Classy airspace lobby your Pollutions.
