I hold a Canadian ATPL SMEL, IR: Group 1 with B73C, and DHC8 type ratings. I haven't flown in Canada since 2016

I also hold an EASA CPL(A) with PC12 SET, PA-46 SET, CRI, and valid SE IR.

I was given an offer from an ATO to do 50 precent of a MEP IR course. The local CAA wont reduce the training since I dont have very many hours on MEP class aircraft.

I have a funny situation considering I have thousands of hours on a large mulit engine turbopro and 900 hours on b737 in Canada. I do not intend to exercise the privileges of MEP IR. I wish to have ME IR endorsed on my license via conversion so I can enter a type rating course without restriction (in Europe).

Is there someone in the know which can help with EASA conversion regulations?

Thank you and kind regards,
Hello xairline,welcome in forum!
There is possibility to do this ,you need to find EASA Approved ATO and start the license conversion process, it's simple. There is many ATO in Europe but science not all of them are able to do this ,i' know one of them who can actually help you and it's worldwide . My colleague converted license to EASA with them, and he is very satisfied with whole process and professionality. You have all explanation on their website easy-pilot.com license conversion, type rating , ATPL Theory, etc.
Check these guys, at least send them some email with questions and see the possibility ,it cost nothing but can help.
