Brexit didn't stop customers booking TUI Holidays, and it didn't force out the Wizz Air East European flights - they continue at LBA now. Cargo, 2Excel and specialist operators such as NPAS and HM Coastguard were doing just fine at DSA too.

But by all means deny reality and blame everything on Brexit. The £500Bn bill for coronapanic in the UK has nothing to do with the recession, right? And how about war between Russia and Ukraine which caused fuel prices to spike? No, let's ignore all that and just blame those who exercised their democratic right to vote to leave the EU.

DSA has proven to be a perennial loss maker throughout the tenure of Peel with no obvious solution to reverse that. But it occupies land which will be worth a lucrative valuation if redeveloped for warehousing and logistics. Peel is first and foremost a property developer. That's the real issue, not Brexit voters.
Do mention the Gammons as Covid and UKR have just pushed the end game of Brexit faster forward that it would have done otherwise. Amazingly a lot of people working at DSA I know voted for it. They are the ones having to relocate.
