Take a look in the movement records you will see weeks in the winter when Teesside took diversions from Leeds and Newcastle and now nothing as Leeds and Newcastle has the better kit. And did I mention fog closures at Teesside well NO!

You completely miss my point.... why are you hating on Teesside again.
I know the historical records very well.
You however obviously don't understand what the equipment does! Teesside doesn't really need (cost vs reward) currently anymore than CAT 1 and investing in CAT 2 or better isn't going to magically persuade (visibility) diverts from LBA or NCL if they have the necessary CAT rating to allow landings in adverse conditions.
Basically once NCL and LBA had invested in the equipment it wouldn't really matter what Teesside had, but lets not allow that to get in the way of your Teesside hating agenda!
