What happens when WAAS has a problem ?
Hi, on the 7th of November, there was some trouble above, and the pictures of WAAS coverage showed what IŽd call a hole that pretty much covered Canada , north Canada, for a couple of hours. How is a WAAS trouble announced to pilots ? Maybe the electronics in the aircraft do it in real time, but how about planning a flight from A to B, which would normally have WAAS as a requirement for approaches or even departures ?
