Here is one that has some history to it. I am the one in the grey shirt - the guy beside me who was our interpreter in Afghanistan between 2006-2009 is Ahmad Shah Massood. His father was the Lion of Panjir and ran the Northern Alliance before being killed by the Taliban. Ahmad Shah went on to become a politician in Afghanistan and now runs the National Resistance Front in the Panjir Valley and is fighting the Taliban. From time to time I would keep in touch with him - amazing person.
