I'm looking forward to the day when Terminal 1 is finally demolished and construction of the Terminal 2 extension along with Terminal 2C finally gets underway.
The baggage system in T1 is still live and connected to the system in T2A, which is why there is the big black link from north side of T2 across to T1. In fact only just before Covid hit we only finished adding new baggage runs and extension to the T1 baggage system in the old T1 IDL area, as well as the BC97 new extension at apron level.
There are some more peripheral bits of T1 that will be due for demo next year.
