The Ukraine - Poland border is rather long. I reckon, RU has neither the capacity nor the ability to close it off. Does RU still have a credible airborne force left? Bakhmut attack is by Wagner who seem to do their own thing and play by their own rules, the stupid thing is the place isn’t really strategic in the scheme of things and as long as they are attempting to take the place they are not reinforcing the defence of main supply route Ukraine is trying to cut.
