BPF, I have to agree with you about the general standard of airmanship in regard to light useage. People's scans are a just as worrying a problem. One of my "things" is to pull the flap motor CB and see what happens, invariably it isn't noticed! That unfortunately shows the level of awareness of some pilots that share the same airspace with us.
