The bloke I know who usually helps with Tower every air show took the retirement package during the shutdown, like many others. They won’t have the means to spare multiple tower controllers to run it. Certainly is other parts of the business they need the manpower in at the moment.
Not only that they take a saving on the P&L by not having to run it. Probably the most important bit.
