The problem they have is traffic at Avalon main is close to at saturation point. After accommodating heavy display aircraft movements, display time and Jetstar there is not much capacity left.
Also heard the flight line has been pushed further away from the spectators (CASA?). There will be no spectators in front of the grandstands. Another area south of tower road is likely, past the fire station. Not sure how that will go with the amateur photographers.
