I'll third Tyabb: friendly staff, good facilities and the town (what there is of it anyway) isn't too far away. It's a shame they don't have a Cafe there though.. that really would make it awesome!
Tooradin used to be awesome, but now is only good for touch&gos.. but given the current state of the runway, maybe not even that.
I've heard great things about Melton (the cafe, staff and food is amazing) but have yet to get there on account of me being paranoid about the grass rwys and all the rain we've had.
