Gauges are common practice around the world and it’s just aussies like you that think it’s every pilot for themselves. Gauges and other people’s notes help you prepare so you can really focus on the areas the employer is looking for. Unlike you and your “awesomeness”, most people can’t know absolutely everything about aviation.
