The reason no-one has replied is probably cos a lot of the questions have been answered to death previously. They will not be the same as yours but along the same lines which is do you do the flight training or go to uni or get a job to pay your way through.
Do a search under the university question and you should find a lot of info.
My view is that it depend what is more suitable for you as a person and in your financial situation. Are you academic, do your parents or people you know have a lot of money etc..
whatever you do try not to regret it as the grass is always greener and there is always someone out there who will have done the other route and come out better off. C'est la vie.
Above all enjoy it and live your life when you are young.
