Ah, someone on here who speaks my language.
I already have a flat screen, bought last year when I decided my old PC would last another year but I needed more space and something that wouldn't hurt my eyes. It's wonderful! I wanted a cordless keyboard and mouse, but couldn't get one with my old PC; can't remember why. But that'll be next.
