In an F-18 you can turn into a bad engine but the jet BARELY stays level in a turn single-engine with that engine at military power, so why try it?
Is a F-18 with near minimum fuel THAT restricted? Always thought thse FJ types (non Jag of course
) had a decent power/weight ratio. Sounds more like a blessed Jetstream!
And the story sounds just like a story too. . . . Nice happy ending though
