Two interesting/shocking things.
First, Russia has got to the stage of stripping out/press-ganging men from their Strategic Rocket Forces as cannon fodder for Ukraine. The effect on readiness states, maintenance, security and morale can be imagined.
Secondly, reading his debrief the number of desertions and wholesale flight shows how hollowed out the Russian army has become with their KIA/WIA/MIA.
UKR is now using manoeuvre warfare in the east. Once they broke through the once strong RU front lines they have been able to rapidly rampage through their rear where rU no longer has the men to hold the towns or ability to locate them or the reserve troops to oppose them.
The ability of the UKR army to advance in an6 direction is now only limited to their own logistic tail, but they now hold the main railway lines and junctions and associated RU ammo and fuel dumps.
Meanwhile, in Kherson, they are fighting a war of force. They have the RU forces pinned down and unable to retreat and running out of food, water and ammunition and are able to pummel them with artillery from outside their range. Their are reports of major RU units with only 3-4 working vehicles left - it seems almost as if the UKR troops are running out of targets.
