Perhaps an abandoned take off - especially if luckyrat is correct and the pitot cover was still in place, and pilot pulled the mags before hitting the lights - there is some prop damage, top blade has a slight bend near the tip and a scuff on the right hand one. Or an engine problem on take off of course!
