We are entering dangerous times...this seems to be quickly unravelling for Putin (good news in itself), but what next? What will happen in Moscow? The next few days or weeks could shape the global political balance for the next few decades. Does a new Russia emerge which aligns more closely with the west, or does it become a puppet of Beijing? Do we get an administration led by the hawks, who seek to rebuild the military into the force that Putin believed he had, or a democratic movement that tries to restore Russia as a confident, resource rich, nation...happy to work alongside western allies? Does Putin have any tricks left, or is his departure imminent? Lots of uncertainty, with some potentially worrying outcomes.
Worrying my ass. Putin has failed and the Wolves will be closing in. I suspect already the Russian political system is working on how to eliminate Putin and extract themselves out of this mess.
