Never had the pleasure to fly with Aria, however he’s a true gentleman and an excellent leader.
With regards to the incident, it’s not surprising given the fog and traffic trying to get in and out of Hagen at that time of the morning. Tower does their best, particularly given the types and the volume of traffic operating on a single runway with the high elevation and high terrain within close proximity to the aerodrome.
Hopefully some good things will come out of this investigation.
