Just for perspective:

1. HMS Prince of Wales has deployed on NATO activities earlier this year:

HMS Prince of Wales returns from Spain after completing NATO mission - 24 June 2022

Royal Navy carriers ready for Arctic role after Prince of Wales’ High North operation - 20 April 2022

Royal Navy aircraft carrier takes centre stage at the heart of mighty naval task force - 15 March 2022

2. In 1982, HMS Invincible was on one shaft all the way down to Ascension Island due to a gearbox fault, until it was resolved by flying down a new part. In a real crisis Prince of Wales could deploy, but without both shafts she will not be able to attain full speed, which she will need for the intended SRVL trials.
