I have a CAA CPL IR license with a multi engine rating. I have 1500 hours.

i want to be eligible in getting hired in both the US & Europe thus need to have both FAA & EASA

as far as i have researched to be EASA accredited I would only need to get an ATPL course and check ride for the aircrafts im rated + IR.

for FAA i am not quite sure because I am seeing that only my PPL license would be accredited. Does this mean i need to go through exams, grounds and 150 more hours for my FAA CPL, multi engine rating and IR?

thank you!
I'm in the same spot, for FAA I think the best thing to do is get a standalone FAA IR and CPL, found this program at Pelican Flight Training, a school in Florida for 12.000$ : flight-school.us/uploads/PDF/009W-M-1-FIXED-CONV-CPL-MEL-IR.pdf (cant post URL because I have less than 8 posts so you'll have to add the http in front)

Anyone who has been there or gone that route?
