Even if the Russians are publicly saying this was only a bus back-firing, they will still be able to search for fragments to identify any foreign material, although this may well be significantly complicated if there are tons of exploded Russian ordnance. It's very interesting that there is this strange media stand-off where the Russians can't/don't want to admit this could really be the Ukrainains striking deep into the Crimea and the Ukrainians are saying several different things including the clumsy Russian with his cigarette.
