Don’t forget “councils” (sic) corporations are run by expert business managers and like to be in total control and micro manage citizens actions. Permits … and fees are the go to help fill the trough. Compliance is all the go.
They have the power, money(yours) and the time.
Corporatised like CAsA, councils are an arm of the State, and ‘local’ government is a misnomer.
And we all know how CAsA behaves.!
As for anyone in a council having any knowledge of aircraft / airfield users requirements … Forget it.
