Am flying to Windhoek from LHR via JNB next week and would appreciate any info on the current passenger situation at JNB. I'm not sure if I will have to go through security again at JNB prior to boarding the onward flight to Namibia.
I have used Fast track a couple of times this summer, once in Edinburgh and also Milan. It did make matters generally easier so will probably consider it for JNB.

I did EWR->JNB->DUR back in May, and after clearing immigration you had to pick up and recheck your bags (there's a transfer desk right there), and were already outside security, so we had to re-enter for our domestic flight.
We arrived at 6pm, and immigration was a "moderate" wait, maybe 15 minutes?
