For predictive doppler derived warnings, the warning is advising of an impending degradation to your energy state. You are permitted to respond to a warning, and there is no requirement to ignore it as it is considered invalid or too high to constitute a risk. What other warnings to we otherwise disregard? It happens frequently, and through grace, often the warnings are indeed false, and then sometimes they are real yet ignored. once gave a QRH to the management pilots as they had started second guessing the NNCLs, the new checklist had the front and back cover and "intentionally blank" in the inside of both. Finally, one crew got pushed into ignoring an NNCL following a warning, and the operator was threatened with being banned from an important piece of real estate, so stopped interfering with the crew's training, at least for a while.
