In the 20+ yrs I flew Hems/HAA going to scenes calls I would always note if we worked with the first responders (LZ training) and reminded
the crew Fireman never look up.
Not to say that is the case in this incident but I did several go around for wires not visible on the high recon of an LZ
And there had been the occasional over excited VFD member that drove under the aircraft while landing (at about 10 feet) stating after wards they never scene the cops trying to stop them at the edge of the LZ nor remembering seeing an aircraft.
