The law of defamation recognises to a certain extent freedom of speech and that opinion does not have to be factual, while seeking to protect innocent people from other vindictive people. For example, a bad review of a business on a website could be opinion: "the worst meal I ever ate - would never go back to that restaurant" is not defamation even though the business is identified. Even saying that Ms Jones the manager was rude and unhelpful is not defamation (though she would have to be a real bitch for me to name her).
For defamation claims to succeed, allegations or statements must be substantially false.
Soaring Cub's rants look very much like an admission that much of what has been written above did happen or is company policy.
