Why is it that you can fly a Virgin Jet if you have a 737 rating but not an Embraer 195 which coincidentally was partly owned by Virgin until recently?
Because they are short on training capacity and recent Boeing/Airbus experience allows a shortened course. PEC in the case of Boeing for the 787
