Indeed, the level of UK geographical knowledge among much of the UK population is lamentable. However, probably more of a handicap than calling the airport Doncaster is referring to it a "Robin Hood Airport". In the minds of most people the Lincoln Green clothed outlaw came front Sherwood Forest which people generally associate with Nottingham. I wonder how many people booked from Robin Hood expecting to fly from EMA!!
