Yes , I saw that after my comment, but either that is a temporary facility or Russian standards really are unimaginably bad. I say that because the crates are not even on pallets*, so would have to be moved by hand rather than fork-lifts: you can imagine that this would be ten times slower and need five times as many men.
* On reflection , no pallet would be able to take the weight of that many ammo crates, so I do still wonder what a properly-designed storage depot looks like.
surely, if a crate can take the weight of other crates stacked on top of it, it is possible to make a pallet that can take the same load? Not a standard ‘euro pallet’ obviously.
